“They…tried to harm you?” Her eyes slowly narrowed at the idea. She should of expected this, it happened to herself in the first year down on earth. But even now? She just didn’t like the idea of another sister dying just for leaving. “I’m..sorry to hear that…If you ever need help, I’m here”

“Well, only a few of them. And it wasn’t as though they just showed up wanted to kill me. There were… events leading up to it.” She shrugged. “My vessel looks pretty weak and defenseless, but I am still the soldier I was trained to be.” She inclined her head ever so slightly. “But if I need you, sister, I shall cal. Thank you.” It meant a great deal to her to have one of her siblings wish to help rather than harm her or chase her off. Or bring her back home for ‘reconditioning’.

Celeste smiled, being the soldier was one of the only things from heaven she kept close as well. Her ability to fight and defend kept her alive for so long. “Good…keep your strength up” She assured her and nodded “Your welcome..we left down here have to stick together…were still family after all..” She needed to believe that herself. She had to have family, she had already lost so many of her closest siblings.

Mac allowed herself a smile, then. It was more genuine than she had expected it to be. “Indeed. Family we are.” She nodded. “Well, Celeste, what have you been up to?” The topic needed to change. She didn’t want to talk about herself anymore. That wasn’t a topic she was happy about discussing.

“A lot actually…though it’s quieted down this year…Now I’m just traveling around” She shrugged and looked around motioning for Mac to follow as she began walking aimlessly, just to be doing something “Last few weeks I’ve been trying to find some of Gabriels homes…he once told me he had 10 different places scattered across the world, places he thought were the best on earth to get away..” She trailed off smiling in thought.

Mac followed her sister without question. It was just pleasant to be in her company. She looked to Celeste at the mention of Gabriel. She knew the two had always been close; it was good to hear they had found each other again before…

“There are so many brilliant places on this planet,” she agreed. “I believe I’ve got a good many places I escape to, myself. You tend to discover the most wonderful things when you spend so long on Earth.” Sometimes she wondered if she had spent too long on Earth. She had certainly developed human emotions after all her time among them. Many of her siblings would frown upon her just for that.

Celeste pouted and chuckled jokingly “You too?! I’ve only found one place I really would call my own escape but….maybe I should get more” She smiled a bit at the thought of her place. There were many places on earth that had great importance to her but only one she really would call her place. “It definatly changes you doesn’t it…?”

“I’m…..” She trailed off and sighed shaking her head. “You probably won’t belive me anyways..” Looking around the ally once more before smiling at the girl “It was nice meeting you hunter” She looked like she was about to turn on the spot and leave the girl with no answered questions.

“I don’t think so, princess!” Alexa said, lunging forward and grabbing her arm before the girl could disappear. “You don’t just pull some kind of weird as shit in front of me and expect to just vanish before giving me answers! Look, whether you think I’ll believe you or not, just try me. I’ve seen more than my fair share of crazy so what’s one more straw on the pile?”

Celeste jumped a little as the girl grabbed her arm. Sighing she turned around to face her gently tugging her hand free of the grip “Fine….” She smiled just a little at her before saying rather proudly “I’m an angel of the Lord”

“Hello Demon” The angel greeted Meg coldly and watched the Demon cautiously “What do you want…”

Meg put on a sad face, saying “Why are you angels always so rude?” She froze for a second awaiting her reaction, but couldn’t wait any longer and started laughing like if she had heard a good joke.

The angel stared at her unamused and crossed her arms infront of her chest and let out a sigh. “Only to you demons we are….I simply have never met a ‘good’ demon yet. So it’s hard to have faith their is any good in your kind” She muttered lowly, almost a growl tone.

Meg smirked and came a bit closer towards the angel. “I’m sorry for you, really. But since we meet for the first time, why not give it a try? So, I’ll start: Hi, I’m Meg and I come in peace.” The demon still wasn’t quite sure why she thought it would be a smart idea to face an angel, but since she had an aim to achieve she decided to stay calm and carry on being friendly. And besides, it was too late to turn around and leave the angel alone. Meg was a demon, not a chicken.

She continued glaring at Meg as she advanced. Cautious and tense she asked again. “What do you want demon…” She really was in no mood to be playing games. But also didn’t look as if she was going to, or was able, to attack Meg and smite her on the spot.

“Well, it might sound weird, but I just wanted to get to know you. The Winchesters and I are kind of old friends, I’m just keeping an eye on them..and Dean’s angel boyfriend. You haven’t seen him lately, have you?” Meg asked directly, still trying to be careful about it.

The angel straightened up, looking like a guard at the question. Of course she knew where Castiel was, but she wasn’t about to give that information away. “Old friends…yeah…right” She said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. This Demon wasn’t the only friend of the Winchesters. She even doubted she was a friend to anyone. Still, she kept a fair distance between them as she finally answered “Yes, I have” She said in a protective tone.

“Celeste…” he repeated her name slowly, looking off into the distance.  ”That’s a very unique name.  I don’t believe I’ve ever met a Celeste before.”  His eyes snapped back to her.  ”But yeah, let’s go get some drinks.  There’s a bar just a few blocks down this street.” he gestured back to the way he had come.  Turning he started walking slowly back, Celeste beside him.

“So, are you from the city?”  he asked.  About a second after he asked her, he instantly regretted it.  Of course she’s from here, stupid!  Not everyone travels across country hunting down monsters like you do.  Normal people do exist Sam.  He looked over at her, trying to see if she thought he was normal enough.

Following behind a little she watched him as he spoke, still running ideas through her mind. All of what Castiel told her about these two… “No actually..just passing through” She smiled a bit and shrugged her shoulders. “I’ve been travelling around you could say…” She thought of what to ask him back, though she already knew he had only been here for a job. She still had to think of something normal to ask him. “How about you?” She decided to ask, wondering how open he was with strangers and if he knew how to keep what he did quiet.

“Oh, you too?”  He was surprised at this.  ”I was actually here for just a few days as well.”  He paused, wondering how to continue.  ”I’m an insurance adjuster.  My job generally takes me all over the country.  I just finished up with a… uh… client here, actually.”

They had reached the bar.  He pulled the door open and let her walk inside in front of him.  He took a seat at the bar and pulled out the stool next to him for Celeste. “So what would you like?  Whatever you want is on me.”

She smiled a bit listening to his story, knowing it was simply a story. Celeste was impressed Sam could cover up his real duties so casually. She gave a polite thankful nod and sat down on the stool pulled out for her “um..” She glanced towards the shelf of bottles, never taking the time to drink much so completely clueless to what types there were. “Whatever your having” She finally muttered still eyeing the lables on the bottles curiously.

Her body language was completely calm and relaxed, shoulders slouched, hands placed on her lap. She didn’t seem to fear him pulling a blade on her anymore. “You left?” She sounded suprised, knowing Castiel was never the type to question heavens orders or go against them. She looked away thinking about it before taking a deep breath and looking back and asking “What made you change?”

Castiel could tell by her tone that she was still questioning his intentions a bit, and so he made it his duty to calm her troubled mind. He was, after all, as disconnected from heaven as an angel could get. He had to ponder her question for a moment, as there were quite a few individual reasons for his departure, though he managed to narrow them down quite nicely. Looking out beyond the horizon, he responded, “I suppose it was my understanding of free will. When one realizes that orders do not necessarily need to be followed, and one possesses the courage to go against what must be so…” He glanced to Celeste then. “…one realizes the fault in the system.”

Nodding in agreement as she finally sighed and pushed herself up to her feet. Crossing her arms over her chest as she took one last look at the city below “I’m glad more are begining to see it…” Finally tearing her eyes away from the city to Castiel and smiles “I’ve been hearing rumors from angels…coming down to earth…Many of our siblings are in a rush down here….over the…Winchesters” She hesitates after saying the name, making sure she pronounced it right then nodding “Are you the one looking after them?” It wasn’t hard for her to listen to the angels talk on earth, and many of them were discussing the angel going against to help them.
